Aaron Judge Hits Walk-Off To Send The Yankees To The Postseason

Aaron Judge just came up big with a walk-off single to score Tyler Wade sending the Yankees to the postseason. Not out the woods just yet since they'll still be forced to come out the wildcard round, but it's obviously better than nothing. A 1-0 offensive struggle for the bombers.

The team now awaits the conclusion of Red Sox/Nationals to see who hosts the AL Wildcard game.

You can't tell from watching the video, but the Rays had an opportunity to avoid Aaron Judge altogether. Anthony Rizzo just hit a single to send Wade to third and then advanced to second on the throw, which left first base open. Instead, Tampa decided to take their chances with Judge rather than walk him to put the game in the hands of Giancarlo Stanton.

A mistake that'll send the New York Yankees back to the playoffs. Don't know how dangerous they could be though since this lineup can't score a run if their lives depended on it.
