Update on Aaron Donald Status for Next Week

Aaron Donald's rib injury is among the biggest storylines to come out of the first day of the NFL playoffs.

Saturday, Donald left the game and did not return. NFL Network is now reporting that the Rams are "hopeful" Donald won't miss next week's divisional round.

Though this is not bad news, the uncertainty will cause Rams fans to miss hours of sleep this week.

Donald is the most impactful non-QB in the NFL. The Rams will not advance next weekend if he's not close to his normal self. Donald is that important.

If the Bears win tonight, the Rams travel to New Orleans. Should the Saints win, it's Rams-Packers — a game I'd give the Rams a slim shot in.
