A Wild Story About Hector Camacho, a Kilo of Cocaine, and the Mexican Border

Showtime has a documentary on the wild life of late boxer Hector "Macho" Camacho, which will debut on Friday at 9pm ET. In the clip above, Rudy Gonzalez, Camacho's childhood friend and eventual bodyguard, recalls a time that, as they approached the Mexican border, Camacho informed him that there was a kilo of cocaine in the trunk of their vehicle. A drug-sniffing dog started going crazy. Macho jumped up on the hood of the car ... and the border agents recognized him and told the dog to knock it off.

The documentary premieres two weeks to the date after the eighth anniversary of Camacho's death. He was shot and killed in a double homicide in Puerto Rico.
