A.J. Brown, Jalen Ramsey Unlikely To Vacation Together

Titans receiver A.J. Brown and Rams defensive back Jalen Ramsey apparently have each other's contact information, but that doesn't mean they'll be FaceTiming to discuss an off-season Airbnb anytime soon. Following Tennessee's Sunday night win over Ramsey's Rams, the Titans pass-catcher seemed more likely to enter a ring with Ramsey than a vacation rental.

"I’m a man first and I’m here to play football," Brown said following the game. "I’m not out here trying to fight nobody. But I’m not taking no shit, though.”

Ramsey and Brown, two of the league's best at their respective positions, were regularly seen jawing with each other Sunday night. Each player was penalized for taunting, and Ramsey was also flagged for unnecessary roughness. Ramsey's constant chatter wasn't lost on Brown, who finished the game with five catches for 42 yards.

“I don’t mind the chirping,” said Brown. “But little things after the play, like the dirty stuff — I’m not going for it. You know?"

Los Angeles' Ramsey tallied three tackles, an interception -- and a loss.

“I mean, as you saw the game — I’m not going to get into all that. We got the ‘dub’ and I’m not about to make it about me and him," Brown said. "He knows me. He has my number if he wants to see me."

The receiver continued: “That ain’t a threat or anything. I’m just saying. He knows me, so if he wants to talk to me and get at me, he’s got my number.”

Though a shared vacation appears a long shot, the two could soon find themselves occupying the same space again on Super Bowl Sunday. The Titans lead the AFC at 7-2, and the Rams, who are also 7-2, are in second place in the NFC.
