2014 Preseason Coaches Top 25

It remains to be seen how much influence the polls will have now that we're entering a college football playoff era. I tend the influence will still be substantial because I don't believe the committee is going to rock the public perception boat that much, meaning if you aren't ranked in the top six it will be tough for you to make the playoff, but we'll have to see whether that's true. 

In the meantime, here's the coaches preseason poll.

By conference, that's 7 SEC teams, 6 Pac 12, 4 from the Big 12, 4 from the Big Ten, and 3 from the ACC. 

Toss in Mizzou at 26, Florida at 27 and Mississippi State at 29 and 10 of the SEC's teams are in the top 29.
