2-0 Raiders Cheerleaders Are Fired Up, UT's Small-Hooker & NC State Fan Arrested After Upset

Random thoughts from a Saturday putting together an IKEA bed frame and watching college football...

...the basement couch is too damn comfortable and there are too many commercials during these games which is a horrible combination these days. I hit the power recline and my ass is out in five minutes. I know what's coming, but I do it anyway. The next thing I know it's late in the second quarter of the Oregon game and it's midnight. I like to be as informed as possible with the world of college football, but these late games aren't making it easy on me.

...I saw some CFB writer who claims to be in the know about the sport with Michigan at No. 10. Now I know that's probably just a troll to get people to respond to his Top 10, but if you watched the Rutgers-Michigan game you'd know that Cade McNamara had a brutal second half where he couldn't hit a receiver in the numbers from five yards out. Michigan had 42 yards of total offense in the second half and McNamara finished 9 of 16 for 163 yards.

“Whatever it was, I’ve got to be better as well. When they load the box like that, it’s got to come down to us beating them in man-coverage. We have do a better job overall offensively as a unit," McNamara said after the game.

“Me, wide receivers, running backs, being able to break clean coverage. That’s what it’s going to come down to.”

• Roger S. sent this photo from Cincinnati. Pray for Joe Burrow's knees during today's game. The Reds are finished and now all we have is Joe Burrow and his health. Don't do it to us, Steelers.

• It's going to be 75 with bright sunshine here in NW Ohio. Time for a Sunday mow and patio time. The kids already played with heavy equipment (see the attached photos) and tackled each other in a bouncy house this weekend so it's time for dad to enjoy the weather.
