With Demand Down, Georgia To Close Almost All Of Its Mass Vaccination Centers

Given that data is showing a drop in cases of COVID-19, Georgia is preparing to close all nine of its massive vaccinations sites, according to Justin Gray of WSBTV in Atlanta.

Gray reported that there hasn't been enough of a demand to justify keeping the locations beyond late May.

Georgia opened four mass vaccination sites across the state on Feb. 22. The additional five opened March 17.

The map below shows the number of positive COVID tests by county over the previous two weeks -- revealing a steep decline for Georgia.
