UNC Star Calls Out Losers Messaging Him Over Losing Bets

Armando Bacot isn't impressed with gamblers venting to him about bets that didn't cash.

Bacot and the Tar Heels face Alabama in the Sweet 16, and UNC is one of the teams with the best odds to cut down the nets when it's all said and done.

While people might be wagering on the Tar Heels to win, Bacot couldn't seem to care less, despite being hounded by fans.

Armando Bacot sounds off on loser gamblers.

Most gamblers don't do much when they lose. Perhaps they crack a beer to drown the pain or maybe place a new bet to get their money back. There are some people who take things way too far, and Bacot is now dealing with morons DMing him because they picked losing bets.

"It's terrible. Even at the last game, I guess I didn't get enough rebounds or something. I thought I played pretty good last game, but I looked at my DMs, and I got, like, over 100 messages from people telling me I sucked and stuff like that because I didn't get enough rebounds. I think it's definitely a little out of hand. But at the same time too, I get the point of it. Like, if you bet a lot of money on something, and you're, like, one pick away and somebody messes it up, I understand the part of fans being mad. But it's annoying, too, at times," Bacot said, according to USA Today.

How bad is it for the Tar Heels big man? He apparently can't even order delivery food without losing bets being brought up.

"Going to a school like North Carolina, you never catch a break. I order DoorDash and the driver is like, ‘Man, y’all messed up my parlay!’ I’m just like, whatever. It’s a lot," he further explained.

Gambling on sports can be a ton of fun, and I've certainly dabbled from time to time. You know what I'd never do? Message an athlete complaining he busted by bet.

Yet, there are plenty of clowns out there who have absolutely no problem doing just that. What do those losers expect to happen? Should athletes apologize for not scoring enough points, getting enough rebounds or winning a game? Give me a break.

It's honestly embarrassing, and Bacot has every right in the world to call it out.

Bet all you want, but don't ever sink to the level of messaging a player when things don't go your way. If you're that upset when losing money, then don't play. Let me know at David.Hookstead@outkick.com if you agree.
