Charles Barkley 'Punches Down' At Kendrick Perkins Again

NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley released some steam on Tuesday night related to ESPN-NBA analyst and former player, Kendrick Perkins.

Barkley Gives Perkins A Knockout Punch To Remember

The second act of Perkins' career involves appearing on TV and spewing bad takes. Last week, he went after the "Inside the NBA" crew, aiming at Chuck and Shaquille O'Neal for ‘bad-mouthing’ the Knicks this postseason.

Barkley whaled on the poor thing, sending a message to Perkins that he would get knocked out in this war of words.

"Leave us alone, roach!" Barkley yelled. It was the type of Grade-A television that continually makes Barkley and Shaq a better watch than Perkins and the ESPN crew.

Barkley and O'Neal agreed that the Knicks were destined to lose in the first round before its start.

Then, out of nowhere, Kendrick Perkins entered the conversation, calling Chuck and Shaq "clueless." Perkins specifically said that Barkley and O'Neal haven't been watching much basketball based on their commentary.

Perkins shared on The Michael Kay Show, "The only time they actually probably watch the Knicks are when they’re covering the Knicks on their game nights."

Though there wasn't much of a feud to begin with — two Hall of Famers versus an underwhelming center — Barkley delivered the knockout blows on Tuesday.

After the Dallas Mavericks' Game 2 win over the Los Angeles Clippers, the TNT broadcast featured Barkley beating up a punching bag with a makeshift Kendrick Perkins mask attached to it.

Perkins responded, "Hey @NBAonTNT tell Chuck he ain’t ready to get his feet hot with me."
