76ers Guard Kelly Oubre Jr. Reportedly Crashed His Lamborghini After Game 2 Against The Knicks

Philadelphia 76ers guard Kelly Oubre Jr. and cars just don’t seem to mix well.

Just hours after the New York Knicks defeated the 76ers 104-101 in Game 2 on Monday, Oubre got into a car accident in his Lamborghini. The incident occurred at 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Evidently, the guard "disregarded a red traffic signal," which is a fancy way of saying he ran a red light.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident. However, both his Lamborghini and the 2023 Hyundai Elantra he crashed into had to be towed away from the scene. Oubre was unsurprisingly a big fan of his car, which he took pictures with for a German publication two years ago.

This accident comes just five months after the guard was stuck by a vehicle while walking in Philadelphia. Whether by his own ignorance or the ignorance of others, he just can’t seem to stay out of trouble with cars.

Thankfully, Oubre was healthy enough to suit up for Game 3 against the Knicks and even appeared in the starting lineup. For further proof that he wasn’t hurt in the accident, he threw down a dunk on Knicks guard Donte DiVincenzo in the early minutes of the game.

Looks like he’s doing just fine.

The Sixers took Game 3, 125-114, with Oubre chipping in 15 points. Now Philadelphia has life again.
