Weirdest Dating App Bio Set Reddit On Fire, Are Absolutely Hilarious

Just how bold are people willing to be on dating apps?

As I've said many times before, I hate dating apps. I think they're absolutely awful and do way more damage than they do good. It's not even close in my mind.

Instead of doing this weird thing I like to call talking to other people, many young people now hide behind screens. How's that working out for everyone? Not well. Not well at all.

Yet, my thoughts definitely don't speak for everyone, and that's why dating apps are incredibly popular. Some people just can't help themselves…..and that includes the crime of being cringe.

Cringe dating app bios go viral.

Well, let me introduce you to a Reddit thread titled "What's one of the most disturbing or cringe thing you've read on a people's online dating bio?"

It's a glorious compilation of some of the most cringe stuff you'll ever see on dating apps. Check out some of the best responses below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com:

  • "I’m annoying, we’ll always be fighting, I’ll say I hate you, but you’ll always come crawling back". No the f*ck I won’t.
  • Anyone who puts their IQ in their bio. I love intelligence and nerdiness, but I need enough social graces to understand that it's not a flex.
  • Exact quote from the screenshot I have to show people the horrors of OLD. This is a dude's response to one of the Bumble prompts. "I'm hoping you... You don't turn on the tap when you go to that bathroom...it's wierd, I know you're taking a poop, keep the tap off, I wanna hear you grunt."
  • E.g. "Let me be your next big mistake. I'm definitely NOT the one, but I promise you'll still be thinking about me long after!"
  • "Even my dick voted for Trump."
  • "Pure blood 🤘 not stupid 🤪" One of several red flags on their profile
  • I had to say something about the opposite. I read on a guy's profile 'I AM EVEN-TEMPERED' and I was like WOW. Unfortunately I was VERY not attracted to him. But top opening line.
  • His profile pic was of him and his (presumably) daughter who had a tube up her nose and looked really ill. I mean, yes you have a daughter that's ill, ok, but as a profile pic? Feel sorry for me? Please? Are you using your sick child for likes? Wrong.
  • Lots of people openly admitting to cheating on their spouses with profiles that don't show their face. Never will I ever understand why people don't just break up/divorce if you wanna f*ck other people so badly. Like, you can still do that and NOT completely destroy someone's sense of self worth and trust, literally just by ending the relationship respectfully.
  • "Looking to lick feet"
  • My reproductive organs are intact. My hygiene well maintained, and yet, I have been unable to find a suitable marriage partner. At least one I'm not related to. And we have rules about that for a reason.
  • I remember a profile for a woman - this was 26 years ago - entitled, "I poop a lot".
  • Works hard, plays harder :/
  • Aka I get blackout drunk on the regular.
  • The one that takes the cake for me was "Looking for my next victim" I'm sure she just meant it as a joke but still was rather ominous
  • Requirements: "Must not have slept with over 5 men" 🙃
  • The most sigma/alpha male on the planet
  • "Swipe right, if you think you can keep up." 🙄
  • If I see "I’m a nice guy" in the bio im swiping left so fast.
  • The use of pronouns and wanting men with specific heights like 5' 10" or something specific like that. Also I've seen height and weight of the person in the bios and I have a specific rule set of if they weight more than 50% of me then its a deal breaker because its a personal care kind of thing.

I honestly can't stop laughing at some of these responses. Who writes their hygiene is "well maintained" on a dating app and keeps a straight face?

Putting "looking for my next victim" - while a bit of a chuckle inspiring comment - is also downright wild. Absolutely cringe on so many levels.

And for all the hardos out there who talk about how nobody can keep up and they party hard, trust me, people can absolutely keep up.

You're not nearly as interesting as you think. You're just cut from the same template as every other NPC out there.

Should you be on dating apps? Should you not? That's up to you. You all know where I stand, but if you're going to do it, for the love of everything righteous in this world, don't be cringe. There are few unforgivable moves online, but being cringe is the greatest crime of them all.
