Netflix Releases Preview For New WWII Documentary: VIDEO

Netflix is bringing viewers a new WWII documentary, and it looks intriguing.

WWII is one of the most fascinating and discussed periods in American history. The war ended nearly 80 years ago, and it's still the source of movies, TV shows, documentaries and nonstop discussions.

It seems like every guy I know is obsessed with WWII. At the very least, I know I am, and I'll watch literally anything tied to the most destructive war in human history.

Now, Netflix is bringing people a six-part series titled "Hitler and the Nazis: Evil on Trial." The series will focus on the rise and fall of German dictator Adolf Hitler.

Netflix releasing new WWII documentary.

It looks very interesting to me, but there is one red flag. The comment at the end of the preview about how people have forgotten the lessons of WWII makes me worry there might be some woke element to the documentary.

To claim people have forgotten the lessons of WWII is insane. Again, it's probably the most-discussed period of human history. Anyone who doesn't know about WWII or what caused it is just choosing to not learn, especially with the endless amount of information on the internet.

If the series doesn't go woke, then there's a great opportunity here for the streaming giant. People crave any information they can get about WWII.

That's why there are countless Wikipedia pages, Reddit threads and text group chats about the war. The rise and fall of Hitler is without question among the most interesting parts of the war. He was an unbelievably evil man who oversaw the slaughter of millions of Jews and WWII resulted in the death of roughly 75 million people.

Evil beyond comprehension. Fortunately, the allies banded together to crush Hitler's Nazi regime and imperial Japan. Young farm kids from Iowa and Nebraska kicked in the front door of Europe and shattered Hitler's grip on the continent.

Now, Netflix will shine a light on how it all went down. That should definitely fire you up! You can catch ""Hitler and the Nazis: Evil on Trial" starting June 5. I'll definitely give it a shot, and let's hope it doesn't go woke. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
