Epic Full Trailer Drops For 'Mayor Of Kingstown' Season 3, Promises Violence

OutKick readers didn't have to wait long for a full trailer for the new season of "Mayor of Kingstown."

Just yesterday, I posted about a short teaser for the series with Jeremy Renner that had hit the web. It wasn't much, but it was enough to wet the whistle.

Little did I know the people at Paramount+ might be reading our coverage and seeing the hype because a full trailer dropped Thursday, and it's every bit as electric as you'd expect.

Smash the play button below, and prepare to go deep into a world of utter darkness for the new season of "Mayor of Kingstown."

Fire "Mayor of Kingstown" season three trailer drops.

Inject this trailer right into my veins. Paramount+, Renner and Taylor Sheridan simply do not miss. They do not miss at all. Wednesday, I spoke a bit about Renner's incredible health comeback after his plowing accident. It's crazy how quickly he's already bounced back, but there's no need to dwell on it again.

What I will say about this trailer is that it looks like "Mayor of Kingstown" will only get much darker and much more violent in season three. To paraphrase the great Dan Dakich, I ain't mad about it.

Not at all. The entire point of "Mayor of Kingstown" is that there is no hope, no optimism and no light at the end of the tunnel. It's episode after episode of the worst elements of humanity being put on display. Yes, it's awesome and I won't apologize for saying it.

Mike McLusky might be Renner's best role, and that's saying something because all he does is make great movies.

If you haven't already watched the first two seasons on Paramount+, I suggest you start ASAP. There's plenty of time to cruise through it before the June 2nd premiere of season three. Hit me with your thoughts on the trailer at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
