Electric Trailer Drops For New Show About The Cocaine Trade

MGM+ might have a major hit on its hands with "Hotel Cocaine."

The plot of the upcoming series is described as follows:

"Hotel Cocaine is the story of Roman Compte, Cuban exile and general manager of the Mutiny Hotel, the glamorous epicenter of the Miami cocaine scene of late ‘70s and early ‘80s. The Mutiny Hotel was Casablanca on cocaine; a glitzy nightclub, restaurant, and hotel frequented by Florida businessmen and politicians, international narcos, CIA and FBI agents, models, sports stars, and musicians. At the center of it all was Compte, who was doing his best to keep it all going and fulfill his own American Dream."

If that's not enough to grab your interest, I can guarantee you the preview will get the job done. It's absolutely electric.

"Hotel Cocaine" looks very intriguing.

What are we all thinking about the preview? I think it looks like a fascinating series. Americans are captivated by the drug trade, and we also love shows and movies set in the past.

It cranks up the nostalgic factor. This show features both, and the preview has me convinced it's going to be a must-watch series.

Plus, how can I say no to another crime series with former "The Shield" star Michael Chiklis? I can't. The answer is that simple.

MGM+ already hit am massive home run with "From" - which also returns this year - and it now looks like the network will have another hit with "Hotel Cocaine." Fans will find out when it premieres June 16th. I'm definitely excited. Hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com
