Couple Who Dances Topless In Their Living Room Receives Note From Neighbor Asking Them To Put Clothes On

A couple in a Southwest Virginia neighborhood found out that they had an audience for what they thought were private topless dance parties in their living room.  A note from their anonymous audience member requesting their assistance showed up on their front door a couple of weeks ago.

A friend of the note's recipients posted it on Reddit.  The note reads, "Dear Neighbor, I hope you are doing well; I am writing because I have noticed lately something inappropriate happening on your property, that is affecting my children."

"I have two teenage sons that have been exposed to inappropriate dancing and gyrating in your household," the note continues.  "I have documented days and times this has taken place and videos as proof; I ask that you and your lady friend please put up some window treatments and or put some closed on to resolve this issue."

"I am trying to raise good, upstanding, Christian men who will not be swayed by sins of the flesh.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.  Sincerely, DJ Dizzy Rock."

So much for the idea of privacy in one's home.  Although, if you're dancing in the buff in front of a window, as this couple is, then you really can't expect too much privacy.

The poster of the note on Reddit told Newsweek, "It looks like a prank but no friends or family have admitted to it.  The couple did say it was entirely possible that someone could see through their windows if they really wanted to and they admitted to dancing topless in their house."

The couple, Kasey and her fiance, Brandon, also spoke to Newsweek.  It turns out that there's more to the story involving an odd interaction with someone where Kasey works.

"I'm a nurse at a hospital and I do pre-op surgery.  So last Tuesday, I had a patient say to me ‘you must really be in love,’" she said.  "I assumed he meant my engagement ring cause we just got engaged.  And he then said - no not your ring, I mean by the way you dance around your living room."

An anonymous note is one thing.  Having a patient, who happens to live across the street, make a comment about your performance requires some further investigation, which they conducted after the comment.

Not surprisingly, they found that the window was visible from the neighbor's house.

The friend who posted the note shared the conclusion they have all come to, "I think it is likely that a neighbor did see them and wrote this note somewhat in jest but also as a legitimate warning to close their blinds."

What's missing from the story is whether the couple plan on making any changes to their topless dance routine.  Do they continue now that they know they have an audience?  Are they going to go the clothed route or the closed the blinds route?

There are more questions than answers at this point.  I'd like to think they'll continue the free shows.
