Celtics Fans Fight Each Other In The Nosebleeds In Miami

The Boston Celtics cruised to a 2-1 series lead over the Miami Heat on Saturday night.  They jumped out to a 21-12 first quarter lead, never looked back, and won the game by 20 points.

That kind of beat down at home in the playoffs can make for a tense atmosphere in the home arena.  Before you know it, there can be fists flying as the trash talking between fans starts.

The fighting usually involves fans from opposing teams going at it or fans on the losing end of a one-sided affair taking their frustrations out on one another.  But that's not how things played out last night in Miami.

Instead of sitting back and enjoying the dismantling of the Heat in the nosebleeds, or trash talking Heat fans, two Celtics fans decided to trade punches with one another.

The brawl ends up taking place across two rows of seats before security is able to step in to break up the action.  A fan in a Jayson Tatum jersey throws a wild flurry of punches as some fan in a Marquette jersey narrates the action.

Celtics Fans Throwing Hands During Game 3 Win Over Heat In Miami

While distracting from the fight itself, the Marquette jersey wearing fan tries and fails to recreate the "Suns in 4" fight from a few years ago by predicting a Heat in 6 series victory.

If you can block that guy out, you can catch the action taking place over his shoulder.  It shows the Tatum jersey-wearing fan following up his flurry of punches by pushing the other Celtics fan and what appears to be that fan's girlfriend into the row of seats in front of them.

The fighting briefly continues there before the two Celtics fans are separated from each other.

Blame the thin air from their seats located a few rows away from heaven if you want, but given how the night played out, this is pure insanity.
